It is our goal that for each child that enters our home, they have an established Circle of Friends.
- Friends to communicate with
- Friends to help fund their needs
- Friends that care about their welfare
What is required of each Friendship circle ?
- To commit to donating or fundraising $80 per month, this sponsors an individual child, and covers all their individual financial needs which include School fees, Clothing/shoes, Meals, Medical expenses and recreational activities. As we are a registered charity if you wish to hold a fundraising event, let our fund raising co-coordinator know and she can help organize permits, insurance etc. fundraising@namastespiritualcentre.com
- To commit to writing to your child a minimum of once a month.
- Understand their culture and share yours.
- To nominate a Friendship leader to co ordinate the circle, collect funds etc
Who can join a friendship circle?
- Anyone, membership is open, you can join in on one of our existing circles or organize your own Circle of Friends! Get a group of friends together and grab a Circle of Friends pack today.
How many friends are there in each circle?
- We recommend a maximum of eight people in each circle. With no minimum numbers!
What is the best way to co ordinate a friendship circle?
- This is the easy bit, organise a once a month get together. Morning Tea, barbeque, playgroup etc. Each friend brings their communication letters/pictures for their child. They also bring their share of the required donation. The co-ordinator collects and forwards to Friends of Namaste inc. Enjoy your circle of friends and have fun!
