2008 was spent organising and starting an Australian charity which already has funds to start the project of opening a children’s home in Nepal.
2009 is an important year, in April we spend three weeks in Nepal covering the ground work of getting the home open.This will take several months to come to fruition. It is also an important year to raise funds. At this point we have enough to open and sustain the home for 3 months, we need to keep the funds growing - to maintain. We also aspire to double the “Friends of Namaste” family of children to approx eighteen children.
In April we will visit a number of children’s homes in Kathmandu, Nepal.
It is our goal to take some Care Packs for the children we meet in these homes.
We are asking that each week when you do your groceries that you add one-two of the needed items in your trolley, when you have bought each item on the list you can drop it to us and we will take them to Nepal with us for the girls. Each pack is only valued at between $20 - $30. If you are not locals save the cost of postage, donate the money and we will shop for you.

We are looking for FRIENDS ! It is our goal for each child that enters our home to have an established circle of friends. A group of friends that they can communicate with, that help fund their needs and give the children a sense of family- friends that care about their welfare.
